Like to work with old cars or want to learn how to restore an old truck? John Sterling with Old School Rod and Custom, LLC is restoring a 1960 C20 Apache for donation to the ranch.
The goal is to complete the project by the end of October. The restoration process will be chronicled and photographed to share the story of transformation and tell how Blazing Hope Ranch is a place where trafficking survivors can build a new life.
John has scheduled work days each Saturday at his shop. Contact him on facebook or call him at 865-640-7737 if you are interested in contributing to this unique project.
You can also designate a donation to the restoration for parts and supplies. While John is providing the truck, expertise and coordinating the work, expenses for the project are in need of funding. A gift can be made on our website. Simply click the "Donate" button and note that it is for the "truck restoration project".
We are so excited about the opportunity this project presents. The restored truck will serve the dual purpose of raising awareness about human trafficking at some area cars shows and what Blazing Hope Ranch is doing about the issue as well as to be a functional truck for activities on the ranch.
