Day-Camp Program

Blazing Hope Ranch strives to weaken human trafficking through the power of Jesus Christ. One of the ways we endeavor to do this is through exciting experiences that empower youth and their families to RESIST the tactics of human traffickers. Camp Run Free is a NO COST summer day-camp experience for youth in our community that will include the following activities utilizing specific anti-trafficking curriculum:

 

  • Breakfast & Lunch

  • Equestrian experience

  • Bible-based lesson

  • Activity/Project

  • Game/Outdoor fun

  • Prevention lesson

Summer 2021 Dates

The Ranch will host three 5-day day-camp experiences this summer. Youth participants will be identified on a first-come-first-served basis through a completed Camp Registration Form with priority given to disadvantaged kids who have not previously attended. Space is limited so register right away!

Daily activities will be conducted from about 8:00am to 2:00pm with meals provided by the Ranch.

How to Help

Volunteer: We need to identify 12-15 individuals who can help for the days of each camp. We have a summer volunteer page for more details and to apply.

 

 

Provide the following:

 

  • Craft supplies for 30 kids for 5 days (each week - crafts to be determined)

  • Sack lunches for 30 kids and 15 staff (each week)

  • Snack and water bottles for 30 kids and 15 staff (each week)

  • Port-a-potty and handwashing station for each week

  • Athletic equipment for use at camp (balls, hoola hoops, etc)

  • Bug spray

  • Sunscreen lotion
