Notice regarding the postponement of the 2020 Hootenanny for Hope

We are sad to announce that the 5th annual Hootenanny for Hope will not be able to take place on April 14th. Although we were planning an amazing event, and many people have already gotten tickets to attend, the current pandemic sweeping the nation is providing significant concern. Our priority is safety. Although this is our most important funding event of the year, we believe that proper care and consideration for the individuals, families, churches and businesses  that partner with us to fulfill the mission of Blazing Hope Ranch is paramount.

Thank you to many of you for your continuing and ongoing support.  It truly means the world to us. We are grateful for the volunteers who have already put in countless hours to planning for the event. Your efforts are never in vain when done for His glory!

We are reminded in this current struggle that God is still good and He is loving and strong. Although, just like the ladies we serve and the countless thousands of victims and survivors or human trafficking, we may be allowed to walk through difficult times and face great uncertainty, our God is mighty to save and his presence can bring lasting peace as he calms the storm, or even more so in the very face of adversity.

Psalm 121 gives us hope:

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber...The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

We will work to reschedule the Hootenanny for a later date. Once it is set we send notices through email, mailings and social media. For anyone who has purchased tickets, we will be working with Ticketleap to get refunds processed.

We are praying for all of you and for a swift end to the virus outbreak.  Be safe and be well.

He works justice for those who are pressed down by the world, providing food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are imprisoned; He makes the blind see. He lifts up those whose backs are bent in labor; He cherishes those who do what is right

(Psalm 146)
