Guest Speaker: Bethany Foran - Out of Darkness
Bethany is the residential coordinator for Out of Darkness, overseeing the operations of staff and residents in the safe home. In 2011 she opened the first safe home for Atlanta Dream Center where she began developing practices and care models for crisis stabilization.
Since then she has helped reach, rescue and restore the lives of over 1200 women, ministering to them, placing them in long-term programs (including Blazing Hope Ranch) and helping them overcome a lifestyle that she once lived. Her own testimony empowers her to instill hope and life into each woman and to lead with relatable wisdom.
Guest Speaker: Brent Woody - Justice Restoration Center
Brent is the executive director and lead attorney for the Justice Restoration Center. Upon learning that legal services would be an emerging critical need in survivors’ restorative journeys, Brent started the Justice Restoration Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing pro bono trauma-informed legal services and anti-trafficking advocacy on behalf of victims and survivors.
Brent has played critical roles in survivor-centered legislation including Florida’s human trafficking victim expungement law. He and his wife, Pamela (Advocates Against Human Trafficking), arrange safe prison releases, coordinating safe transportation and restorative housing for previously trafficked inmates.
Guest Speaker: Abby Wallace - Licensed Professional Trauma Counselor
Abby is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Tennessee and Georgia and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Abby graduated from Richmont Graduate University in 2012 with a Masters in Professional Counseling and a Specialization in Trauma Counseling. She has since continued her education through extensive trauma training, including EMDR, PE, healing attachment following trauma, the impact of trauma on religion and spirituality, military culture, human trafficking, and more.
Abby specializes in working with clients of all ages with a history of trauma or abuse, as well as assisting couples with relational and communication issues. Abby has a private practice at The Transformation Center and contracts to provide counseling services to the residents of Blazing Hope.

DESIGN GUIDELINES: To be considered, your design should be your own original work and should have a creative message (graphically or written) that makes a strong connection to the mission of Blazing Hope Ranch. The purpose of the shirt should be to raise awareness about trafficking/survivors and/or the work of the Ranch. Design should not be specific to this event.

VOTING: The top three designs will be posted on Facebook for voting October 30th through November 5th.
WINNER: Top vote-getting design will be announced at the Hootenanny Virtual on November 6th.
